PROCESSING TIME

As you well know, custom items take time to make. I will make every effort to ship your item as soon as possible. Our current delivery time is approx. 5-7 days, but it may vary depending on our current workload. Add an additional 2-3 days for delivery in Canada.

LAST MINUTE ORDERS

If you need an order sooner than our current processing time, please contact us BEFORE purchasing, for rush order availability. Please do not order a sign and leave a note in the "notes to seller" section, telling us that you need your order sooner than our expected processing time. We are unable to read all the notes we receive as we are working on orders.

COMMUNICATION

**ALL** communications will be via email, not social media as I rarely check them and find it very difficult for me to keep up with requests etc.

** NOTICE: If all required information is not included with your order, processing time will be delayed. Be sure to put ALL required personalized information at checkout. Failure to do so will result in a delay in processing your order and shipping it on time.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. No refunds will be made if an order has already been started/completed.

DELIVERY DELAYS

We ship with Canada Post or the carrier of our choice, but we do not guarantee delivery within 2 to 3 days. Most orders make it on time, but sometimes a package is delayed for unknown reasons. If we have fulfilled our obligations on our end and in the event that the carrier delays your order, there will be NO refunds, store credits, etc. Please note that if your order says "Delivered" with USPS or Canada Post, state that you did not receive it, no refund will be issued. You will need to follow up with the carrier for the lost package.

PLEASE NOTE: If an order is returned to us because the package could not be delivered to the address you provided, you, the customer, will be required to reimburse the shipping costs to have the request returned to the correct address.

Delivery address

Your order will be shipped to the address you provided. If you would like your order shipped to another address, please change the delivery address when placing your order. If you are unable to change the correct address when placing your order and send us a message with the correct address, we will do our best to insert the correct address, but we cannot guarantee it.

In an effort to keep your shipping costs as low as possible, we ship via Canada Post or the carrier of our choice.

PACKAGE TRACKING

You will receive an automatic email with your tracking number when your order is shipped.

RETURNS
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To make a return, you must present us with a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. We will also notify you of our decision to approve or reject your refund request.
If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven't received your refund yet, please check your bank account again first.
Next, contact your credit card issuer, as there may be a delay before your refund is officially posted.
Then contact your bank. There is often some processing time required before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We replace an item only if it is defective or damaged. If in this case you would like to exchange it for the same item, email us at oldshacksigns@gmail.com and send your item to us at: 269 Chemin Hallé, Brigham, QC, j2K4J7, Canada.

Gifts
If the returned item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equal to the value of your return. Once we have received the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item was not identified as a gift when purchased, or if the gift giver preferred to receive the item first and give it to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will know that you have returned the item.

Dispatch :

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from it.

Depending on where you live, the time it takes to receive your exchanged product may vary.

If you are shipping an item worth more than $75, you should consider using a trackable delivery service or purchasing delivery insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive the item you return to us.

Colors - Please note that colors may look slightly different on the final product than they appear on your computer screen. Every effort has been made to accurately represent the colors on our part. Screen brightness, resolution and position can lighten or darken the colors of the image. Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace or exchange an item if the color is not "exactly" as you expected.

Fonts - Please understand that each font has different characteristics and some letters may not be the same as what you write. This is not an error and we will not replace an item due to font characteristics. Thank you for your understanding.

Proofs - Proofs will be sent upon request only. If no proof is requested on the order, we will complete the item with your information in the style shown in the listing. If you receive your order and are unhappy with a font or layout and have not requested a proof, we will not replace your order free of charge. We offer a 50% discount on new orders.

Once the order is placed, it is sent directly to processing. No changes can be made after ordering. Changes include, but are not limited to, information (names, date), colors or delivery information. If you email us with a change and the item has not been completed, you may purchase another item and cancel the original sale.

We are sorry to have to inform you that we are no longer able to send you a picture of the finished product you ordered.

Occasionally, a customer may misspell a name or give an incorrect date on their order. We are often asked if we can resolve this issue if the item is returned to us. The short answer is "maybe", however, fixing an item is usually more difficult than creating a new one. For this reason, we offer a discount to cover the costs of purchasing a new item. Please contact us to receive the discount code if you need to re-order due to an error on your order.
